About us

Founder story

Abstract Stack was born from firsthand experience operating inside both the technology and gallery worlds.

 

After years building and scaling enterprise software companies, while also co-owning a contemporary art gallery, we saw a surprising disconnect: galleries manage incredibly valuable relationships, yet most still operate across fragmented spreadsheets, inboxes, PDFs, notes, and institutional memory.

 

The problem was never a lack of data. It was a lack of visibility.

 

Collector conversations, artwork histories, client preferences, follow-ups, and opportunities were scattered across disconnected systems and trapped in people’s heads. Existing gallery software focused heavily on inventory management and websites, but very little on relationship intelligence.

 

We believed galleries deserved modern infrastructure built around the way the art world actually operates: through relationships.

Abstract Stack was created to centralize collector intelligence, surface opportunities, and bring clarity to the operational side of the art business — without losing the human element that makes it special.
